 Enjoy your holidays folks.

  • Ski Pass prices reduced slightly compared to last season!

Booking ski passes with Neilson is cheaper this season, currently at £175 for 6 consecutive days. Last year the same pass would have cost over £190. Nice one Neilson.

  • Black #3 - Franco Berthod Piste re-modelled!

  • Children's area "First Curve" expanded and enhanced for 2009...

This season sees the opening of a fantastic new small children's ski area named "First Curve".  The moving carpet in front of the Planibel has been moved and relocated in First Curve.

Old news...

  • Mount Belvedere lift upgrade (2006-2007)

Regular visitors to La Thuile will remember the dreaded long slow and freezing cold two man chair to the top of Mt. Belvedere. It used to take forever to reach the top and when you got there you were usually frozen solid. Well there's good news folks... It's gone! They've replaced it with a brand new 'magic carpet' four man chair. Oh and by the way, you have to pick it up from the other side of the top of the Forclaz.

The first map shows the old lift from the bottom of blue 28. The second map shows  the new lift, which is much shorter, much faster, and its on the other side of the mountain. (Also note that the following blue runs have been upgraded to reds: 18, 19 & 21)

  • Mt. Belvedere border crossing is now easier

Remember the hike up hill at the top of the Belvedere lift? Well its gone... They have blasted a chunk of the mountain away so that its an easy crossing into France now. (Picture should follow)

  • Where is Franco?

First he could be found... behind the bar at the Rendezvous (which was later re-named "La Cage Aux Follies").  THE GOOD OLD DAYS !!!!!

Now he's gone and left the village!... He can be found at La Vacherie on the Aosta road out of Pre St. Didier. It's a fantastic restaurant with a night club bar below. Well worth a trip to.
